NRW.Energy4Climate becomes partner of the Benelux Energy Expertise Network

NRW.Energy4Climate, the official agency for Energy Transition and Climate Protection of North Rhine-Westphalia, has become a partner of the Benelux Energy Expertise Network. It was Mr Ulf Reichardt, chairman of the agency's Board of Directors, who officially ratified this with secretary-general Alain de Muyser and deputy secretary-general Michel-Etienne Tilemans at the Benelux House in Brussels.

The Benelux Energy Expertise Network (https://www.benelux.int/nl/benex/) aims to support energy transition in the Benelux and bring together knowledge institutions, governments and industry representatives. It currently has almost 50 members from the Benelux countries and has strategic partners in North Rhine-Westphalia.

NRW aims to become 100 per cent climate neutral and a pioneer of the energy transition while still being Germany's leading industrial region. To achieve this goal as soon as possible, NRW.Energy4Climate is bundling NRW's climate protection and energy transition activities as a key driver in the process, thus accelerating the transition the energy, industry, mobility and heat and buildings sectors.
